Fix or replace this tank?

Attached is a picture of my 1979 Safari gray water tank. I found it partially detached and dented inward. Is there any way to repair this tank? One of the spin-on fittings has come undone as well. I am thinking that a new tank would be the easiest fix.

Cheers,

j z

Cool, Andy. What does a new tank go for?

I was looking at some other tanks that offer a larger capacity. What was the capacity on my old one?

Also, my black tank has a cracked outlet lip where it attaches to the 3" ABS pipe. It appears that the outlet was undersized and the ABS was forced into it at manufacture. Over time the tank yielded and cracked. Right now, I have a rubber boot connecting the black tank to the waste valve. Hope it holds for a while.

I had one of my fittings on my black tank detach. They tried to fix it and the fix failed. Replace the tank.
Do a little shopping and you can save some money.

Spend a little money or clean up a mess in the campground? I'll just get the new tanks...
