Fantastic fan and odor

We have been experiencing a strong odor in our rig. Our rig has been in for warranty repair numerous times. They can't fix the problem.
After we have traveled for a long day we turn on the Fantastic Fans to air out the Airstream Flying Cloud 2013. There is a rancid odor coming from the closet next to the shower. Any information, thoughts, experience??? Please help. John Taggart.

Sorry - that doesn't sound fun.

Hard to say - could be a dead rodent in a wall somewhere and when you put on the fan, it draws and moves air out from the closet area that is normally just stagnant in that one location.

All standard equipment in our rig. In fact, numerous warranty repairs have been done without resolve. The whole system has been looked at. I thought it was resolved after the last warranty repair. No such luck.
We turned on the fans...within 30 seconds the odor is very strong. Yuck.

Keep water in the toilet and be sure the traps have water in them. Battery okay, not overcharging? Propane leak? Jim

Diesel trucks can sometimes send fumes into a trailer in rare occasions. Jim

Jim...all of the above completed. I have completed all obvious fixes. We shouldn't have to dump and clean the tanks each day in order to get rid of the odor.

Parked in a campground or at home. Not hooked to any external sources.

Everything has been checked by Several Airstream Dealers. No resolve. I'm very disappointed.

Maybe a leak in the shower drain or pan into a dead space?

The space under the closet next to the sweet has a valve that has also been replaced. And supposedly double checked.

Warranty / Lemon Law

I have had an ongoing odor problem in our 2013 rig. The problem has not been solved.
Has anyone been successful getting their un fixable issues taken care of by using the lemon law or warranty with Airstream or Dealer. I'm in California and have more than fulfilled the letter pod the law.

Tanks can still stink even if rinsed. Seems you have everything covered, though. What's in that closet? Maybe empty it out and check. Hope you solve this, what a frustration. Jim
