Dump valve, repair kit, which one?

I have a 1975 Tradewind and need to replace or rebuild the dump valves in the Spring, my valves say 01447 Slide-EZ Valve T-1169.
I find reference to using kit #09872 or #03827, can anyone tell me which is the correct kit?

Your help is appreciated.

As I recall, you can use either kit. One comes with a new aluminum backing plate, which replaces the original plastic plate. This makes the value about 1/8" thinner, but I don't think that's a problem, generally.

Zeppelinium,

Thank you very much, exactly what I needed to know

For reference to whom may read this down the road:

For the all plastic Thetford SLIDE-EZ valve use repair kit No. 09872
For the metal backed Thetford SLIDE-EZ valve use repair kit No. 03827. You can also use this to convert an all plastic valve to a metal backed valve. Will make your valve 3/8" thinner
SLIDE-EZ valve conversion kit No. 12200, can be used to convert a stainless steel backed valve to an all plastic one. Will make your valve 3/8" thicker
I can neither confirm or deny this but according to Thetford part No. 08706 with handle or No. 08707 without handle is the replacement valve for the all plastic valve.
Available at odmrv.net, inlandrv.com or vintagetrailersupply.com
