I am afraid of that just looking at the picture.

I am assuming the knock-out in the dishwasher port is still intact, or the first user is gonna have a worse day the Robin Williams' character in RV

That dude looks like some type of alien brain sucking robot from a low budget science fiction movie.

A little scary. I'm a fan of the pump out option and ours uses a T-pump and 1 1/2" spiral hose with cam-locks but a home-brew gizmo would have me using more than a rubber bung in the mechanism.

So, how well does it work?

I wonder a little about the "U" loop in the inlet hose. . .

It might grind the sewerage, but a garbage disposal is not a pump. Does it actually creat any head pressure to lift the waste?

Clever use of a garbage disposal.

120VAC and heavy... Original none the less.

Yes it will actually grind and help pump that stuff out. The big question is why isn't this guy eating enough fiber.

Hope it does not end up back on Craig's list... "honey, why does the sink smell funny?"
