Curved black water tanks?

Does anybody know where I can get a smallish black water tank with the Airstream "curve" on it or do I have to get it custom made? Our bathroom has only the potty (back, streetside, no shower) and the tank sits on top of the floor rather than in the frame. There is then a box built to fit over the black tank and the potty sits on the box. The tank can't be more than 6" tall but, if I can get one with a curve, it can be pretty long and about 22" wide.

Thumbs up We had ours custom made...

We had ours made by All-Rite tanks (new link). We found the "new" ones didn't fit tight to our radius, so we made our own template and it's a great fit! Check out our "It's a Girl!!!" thread for more info, starting around post #127 and picking up again around #144 and #345.

Here's a smaller one that Inca plastics carries. It was not the correct radius for our trailer so we went with a custom tank from All-Rite.

OOoops, sorry about that! Something happened with my link...I get a "Server Not Found" message...

Try this: http://www.airforums.com/forums/f91/...l-31084-3.html go to the forums page and scroll down to the 1956 Safari section - that's where it lives.

Thanks! I got to your blog and was able to view the "before" pictures. Would love to see the "after". I see you are the only Airstream in Edgewater - I'm the only one in Saguache (south central Colorado). This is my first AS - and it is definitely a learning experience!

Oh good! I have posted "after" pictures in my "It's a Girl!!!" thread here on the forums, see posts #547 & #548 for the latest. I plan on updating the website over the winter months ~

I have a black tank out of a 1962 GT. I bought it last year from a fella on the forums site. I have since decided to do a wet bath and bought a square black tank. I can get a pic for you if you are interested. PM me.

I am very much interested in purchasing your black tank if it will fit. Can you send a picture and/or measurements?

Thanks
