Black Water Valve Question

I have a 1974 31 foot International Center Bath model. My black water Thetford Model 01447 valve would not close fully. I removed the black Y with the gluded Black and White water valves attached. I disassembled the Black Water valve(un-screwed the two halves) and found the problem. The round rubber gasket was deformed and the plastic slider would not seal properly. I would like to buy a repair kit if one exist that would include a new round rubber gasket and a gasket to seal the two halves together. Can somebody tell me who to contact? Thanks, Wally

How about this one? Does that look like it?

Thetford makes bunches of parts for their units, time to look around for a while...

If it's to be, it's up to me.

I'm in the exact same situation with the exact same Airstream (but one year newer )

1. How hard was it to remove the Y pipe? Were any of the connections cemented such that it was difficult to remove the valves/pipes intact?
2. When you put everything back together, what did you use to seal the pipe and valve connections?
3. Did you end up finding the parts? If so, where did you order from?
