Question Black tank repair

I have the tank out!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have the rear bath so the tank sits above the subfloor. Does anyone have experience with using patch on a black tank. I have a 3 inch crack along the side where the probes are and I'm thinking about using a kit that is made for this purpose. Will it work and hold????? I've gone to to much work to get to this point to just experiement. I hope someone can give me help.

Is it a fiber glass or a plastic tank? Fiberglass is no problem to repair. Just need to sand it back to clean material and reglass that area.

Plastic might be a problem. ABS and some other plastics do not glue very well. There are tricks including flame treating the surface to burn off impurities so it will bond with the adheasive.

What your is the coach? Have you been to Andy has some tanks available for older units and might have one for yours.
