Black tank electrical wire?

This is a poor picture of an electrical wire leading into the black tank dump pipe just before the dump valve. Does anyone know what its purpose might be?

I have heard of electric valves with switches inside the trailer so if you are in a campground with full hookups you can empty the tanks from inside the trailer without going outside. I don't know if that's what you have. That idea seems like a little too much sugar for a dime.

That makes perfectly good sense.
Scratch my overthought thought...

Openroad, thank you. I was down there poking around and noticed. I am still at the new to me owner stage and finding mystery things. It sure would be nice if Airstream provided comprehensive owners manuals. The one for my year does not even include my model.

Kinda doesn't make sense that a sensor would be in the plumbing on the way OUT....

That is what it is. I had to replace mine in that model when it was only a year old.

I don't think any of you are correct. I am certain that is the wire to the detonator for the explosive charge used to break up blockages in the black water tank drain.

Hopefully I will not have to test that theory.
