Black/Grey Water Tank Vent System in 1977 Sovereign

After removing the closet, the black hard plastic vent pipe from the grey/black water tanks are exposed and in the way (see pipe on left in picture), going through the ceiling.

I noticed two other vents that had end caps actually inside the trailer shell, one under the kitchen sink and one under the bathroom sink (see center of picture under window).

If I want to continue using the black/grey water tanks, must the first vent go through the ceiling exterior of the trailer shell? Or can I end cap it like the other 2, to make room. Or will it smell up the trailer?

My other option is to get a flexible hose and feed it around out of sight.

Thanks!
KWD

Those 2 short stubby "vents" you're talking about aren't vents but vacuum breaks, they keep a suction from sucking all the water out of the p-traps that are under the 2 sinks, lack of water in those traps would allow sewer gasses from the gray water tank in this case from venting into the trailer, stinking it up, and potentially killing you. If the vent pipe is in the way, you can get some more fittings with different angles to route it closer to hugging the wall or elsewhere in the closet to make more room. The tanks do need to be vented.
