Black Flush Extension Hose
Wondering if anyone has ever fiddled with a permanent short extension hose for the black flush.
In addition, anyone ever tried or found a device that you could have on that hose that would successfully connect to a damaged water line, such as we see at all dump stations?

There are rubber hose attachments.
http://www.amazon.com/Camco-22484-Wa.../dp/B000EDOSKG
I don't bother to flush the black tank at dump stations. There are usually others waiting. If I'm at a campsite with water hook ups I'll fill up my black tank to almost full at the site prior to going to the dump station. After dumping add a few gallons of water and a little laundry detergent to slosh around while towing.
I have a 15' garden hose for black tank flushing. If I need to extend it I attach it to my water hose.

I'm not a fan of the Water Bandit. I had one, it blows off pretty easy even if you try to hold it on. Don't ask me how I know this.

I just fill the Toilet with water and let it drop quickly while the BW valve is still open, to flush the tank if I think it needs it. For the last run of the season I fill the dish tub we keep in the sink with hot soapy water and holding the toilet flush valve open I pour it directly down thru' the flush valve to get a wave of water headed to the open dump valve. My BW tank always seems to be clean when inspected from above through the toilet.

My trailer has a short piece of hose from the black tank flush to just outside the hole in the bottom of the water compartment. From there, I use a 10' hose that fits in the water compartment along with channel lock pliers and latex gloves.

I too use one of these. I also carry a hose clamp, if needed, so that it won't easily come off while I'm using it.

Mine also came with a short hose to go between the black tank flush hook up and the outside water faucet. I have never used it though. I haven't found a need to flush the black tank.

I don't know if there is actually a "need".
I'm very OCD, though-
I'm afraid my trailer could smell like a public restroom if I don't flush-

May have been the vacuum breaker in the black water flush supply line, or other fittings in the area?
