Black and Gray Tanks, Valves, etc 1977 Sovereign Center Bath

I've recently bought a 1977 Sovereign 31ft Center Bath. Being a newbie, I didn't know where everything was located. The PO used the trailer as a home and later as an extension onto an actual house. She had it hooked up to city water and sewer. What I have noticed today is that the entire waste holding tank section (blank & gray tanks, valves, etc.) is missing. I will have to rebuild the entire section. Has anyone done this? I need to put together all of the parts I'll need and how they should attach, etc. Any pictures or diagrams that anyone has would be most helpful. (I should purchase that $60 service manual.)

Thanks!!!!

Correction. Only the black tank and valves and such are missing. The gray tank is there at least.

Is your grey tank located directly behind axles with fresh water tank ahead of axles?

I would suggest a manual but if you PM your email I can scan some pages to you. My 77 is a rear bath but I'm actually in the process of changing to center bath.

You can download an Owners Manual directly from Airstream.
From here:
https://www.airstream.com/service/ma...ear_select=878

If you could post a photo or two of what is left, I'm sure someone will tell you how to repair it.

Sounds like the PO installed a standard household toilet.
You are in for some work restoring it to the original system.
Good Luck

I just saw on the forum you offered to photocopy plumbing from your service manual. Any chance I could get plumbing and electrical?

I assume you are referring to the following post, but please realize that the post is from 2016, and the author may not see your reply. I have Quoted him, so that hopefully he will receive an email from this forum alerting him to the quotation.

Good luck,

Peter

I have a 1976 safari and manual / service manual. What pages do you need? Might be easier to PM me. Happy to share what I can.
