belly skin and black water tank

I need to get to the black water tank in my 1969 safari to make repairs to the angle iron frame. Can anyone tell me how much of the belly skin I need to remove to get access ? might their be a seam in the skin where the 1 inch braces run under the holding tank? Thanks.
