Bambi black tank rotten floor

I have a rotten floor around (under?) my black tank at the rear of my 1961California bambi. Does the black tank sit on the floor or is it suspended in a pan off of the frame? I'm trying to decide if I start by taking the bathroom apart (if it sits on the floor) or the belly pan off (if it is suspended). Thanks!
