Hello, We just puchased a 68 airstream international and NEED HELP!!!!!!!!!!!! We have a aqua magic toilet model A21957, and we are unable to flush it. Does anyone have any information they can share.
Also have a a stuck water pressure regulator from Cash-Acme F-24.

Parts are not available for that original toilet.

A replacement is the best that you can do. However, be extremely careful which one you may purchase since it must also go through the bench.

Water regulators that fail, are replaced.

You should make sure the trailer is water proof by making sure all the exterior gaskets are ok, such as the entrance door, access doors, windows and the sewer vent pipe cover gaskets.

Checking the tail lights and clearance lights for leaks, is also a must.

Once you have the trailer water proofed, then you can deal with all the other issues as your time and budget will allow.

Also check the glass to metal seam on the stack and vista view windows. That seam can be easily sealed with Vulkem sealer.

Andy

Here is a link to a toilet that may fit in your space:
SeaLand Concerto All-China Toilets - Product - Camping World

Here is a link to a replacement water pressure regulator:Water Regulator Gauge Combo - Item - Camping World

It goes on the water inlet where it goes into the trailer. Remove the stuck regulator and use the screw-on type. Replacing the factory regulator is a pain in the asino.

here is an option- this is the toilet we have ordered. We don't have to worry about fitting in the bench, but I think this one fits in there. Dometic
I read that here- Toilet

Dave,

What Aqua Magic do you have - is it this one:

1968 Overlander 3

If so - Andy is right - parts are no longer made but are out there if your trying to stay vintage - even the toilet. Marks RV still has some:

Marksrv.com Thetford Galaxy and Starlite toilets and parts and other sites do also.

Post's RV here in Columbus still has some parts. I have a box full of parts that I found on Ebay to keep mine alive - partly to stay vintage and partly because of the fit.

If you decide to replace watch the measurements as Andy said. Here is a chart from Thetford that may help you if you decide to replace it... see "Which Toilet"

Thanks to all for taking the time to reply. The Dometic looks like it may fit - it seems like that may be the way to go. I would like to keep the original but....tough to find the foot assembly part . That part is totally missing. The arm is intact underneath the toilet , but thats it. It's a shame, because the bathroom is in excellent shape for a 68.

I replaced my toilet in the 67 with the Sealand Lite.
Very impressed , china beats plastic any day.

You will have to change out the flange.
Sealand uses 4 bolts instead of the standard two.

Change it out. If you can find replacement parts, you will still have an old plastic toilet. Here's another vote for the Sealand porcelain versions. Be sure to check clearances between the toilet and the wall. Often space is tight at the back of the toilet. PPL has specs on their site.

The traveler lite was the only one I found that would fit in our trailer (but it's a different model than yours). The sealand takes a standard household seat and is sturdy and easy to clean.
