OK, here I go talking about the nasty...
I purchased an old camper that was lived in full time for the past 40 years. I tried flushing the tank with a hose and fugured everything would go into the tank located below it. Well, I noticed only the water from the sinks were draining into it. Since I don't have keys for the outside compartments yet I can't see what is going on under the toilet yet. There just happens to be a broken hole on the plastic panel under the toilet in the bathroom. I reached in and found some rotten metal fitting that came off. Also the foot pump thing doesn't work. The flat sliding thing in the toilet doesn't seem to move, either. Is it attached to the foot pump lever? I'm waiting for the
1966 Manual I ordered from Airstream. I should wait but I'm trying to get the stink out of the camper. Would you believe there was dirty cat litter under the toilet? I guess I know why I got this camper real cheap and was the only person interested in buying it. It took me two days of srubbing everything and removing stinking floor tile. My husband & family thing I'm nuts.
