63 tradewind black water tank/toilet fitting

Do they still make the fitting that fastens the toilet to the black water tank??? The piece Im talking about is the one that screws into the top of the black water tank then the toilet fastens to that over the floor.

thanks in advance
Mitch

Hello durans54,

If you are refering to the black plastic thread on fitting called the closet flange ,yes they are available at rv stores .They may have 4 slots for the screws ,some had only 2 .it will work.

I found that modern toilets all have 4 mounting bolts, which would necessitate a 4- hole flange, usually only to be found at RV supply stores.
The 4-bolt flanges hold the toilet much more secure during travel.

Be sure to replace the rubber gasket between the flange and the toilet. It works best to coat the gasket with vasaline before installing to help ot seat against the flange and the toilet.
