2003 safari - how do you remove black water tank?

Hi there -

Any advice on the best way to remove the black water tank on a 2003 safari? Do you go underneath and take off the belly? Any advice is appreciated!!!

Thanks.

Is that where the tank is?

It should be facing the the flush valves for the grey water and black tanks. You will notice two sections of the belly pan hanging a
couple of inches lower than the rest of the belly sections.

If you remove the pan under the tanks, they will come out. You will need to disconnect the dump valve plumbing underneath, and remove the toilet so you can slip the sewer pipe off the top of the tank. There is also a vent pipe connected to the top of the tank which will have to be removed as well, and the tank monitor sensors will need to be unplugged.
