1988 Argosy Sewer Hose

Hello all,

Does anybody know what specific type of sewer hose should be used with the 1988 Argosy (32', not sure if that matters)? We bought a Rhino Xtreme which was too small, then another slightly bigger hose (not sure the brand on that one), which was also too small.

Is there a particular brand/model/size that works with this Argosy model?

We are brand spankin' new to campers, so I apologize if this is a silly question.

It is not the hose which is the problem, it is the fittings for the hose. Your Argosy used Thetford fittings (virtually always white) and you are trying to put Valtera fittings on the outlet.

A good RV store can fix you up with Thetford fittings, or you can order them on line. Both Thetford and Valtera use standard 3" hose to connect to.

You also can buy a Thetford to Valtera adaptor and use that to change from one type to the other.
