1963 Ambassador 28' stock black water tank size?

Please help! Any advice on a fresh water tank size with this model? I'm concerned about overflowing black water tank by running sink or shower because the model has no grey. New owner, don't know much, but seems logical. Adding fresh water tank this weekend.

Hi,welcome to the Forums. There are quite a few of us in Austin/Central Texas. I have a 63 Overlander, the next smaller model than yours, and
there are many similarities. My stock black tank is around 12 or 13 gallons I think?

Are you certain your gray water drains are plumbed into the black tank? I believe it was most common at the time for those to drain to the ground. Many people use portable waste tanks (often called blue boys) to drain their gray water when they're not connected to full sewer hookups.
