1960 Tradewind Tank Placement

Hi all,
We have a 1960 Tradewind with shell currently off, which we imported to Australia. We bought it as an empty shell, and are wondering the best place to fit the freshwater tank or even what the original placement was. This will be the only tank as we are not reinstalling the bathroom. Also, is it possible to install the tank after the body is back on, or should we do it beforehand? Only reason we thought of doing it after is because it will hold up the work that needs doing to the chassis and body, so considered getting body back on first and doing tanks later. Any input appreciated!

It was either in the front or next to the wheel well. Is it the original galvanized steel tank? You can put that in any time. I put mine in after I put the shell back on, but before I installed the new belly pan. I bolted it to the floor and wanted to have access to the heads underneath to get it tight.

My sis has a 1960 Tradewind. Her tank was originally up front, above the floor, under the gaucho. You may want to visit her blog, her trailer is mostly original
