It also keeps nasty gas from backing into the trailer if you are hooked to a sewer line.

Thanks Doug

All, unbeknownst to you all, I secretly emailed my main parts supplier up in Canada - Shacksman. I knew he would have one if anyone would.. Thanks Shacksman. I'll email ya my address, unless you're coming through to Florida for the winter. In case you all don't know it, I owe many of my lights to Doug from one of his 58 California model....

I would suggest you get a PVC waste and over flow (solvent weld/cement type). use the threaded shoe or elbow and chrome drain. Exiting the drain create a rise with two street 1 1/2" 1/8 bends (sanitary 45s). you may have to roll the fittings to get the correct rise. you want to create enough rise only to make a water seal (trap).

Phil

You don't need any help slowing Rob down, He's quite good at doing that on his own .Just let him know where there's an old trailer sitting and watch what happens.
Everyone's in the same Unit, Colin, Rob you and me.

Still working on the Ambassador. I'll use a plastic trap somehow.
I have mine inside now and should have it done by spring. Good thing I have 2 others to use.

Tim,
I think he was talking about unit members that do things with their unit.... Jeeze, I had to offer up free Southwest vouchers just to get you to come to your units premiere event.... we haven't even figured out whose trailer we can get for you to use while you are here.

Rob,
I found a very cool trolley topped trailer at a construction yard near my plywood supplier. It is all aluminum.... Next time you are passing through we should go check it out. It is not an Airstream, but still a great looking trailer... wanta go look?

Doug,
Did I do that right?

I just used ABS fittings and cut a small hole through the belly. It was tricky to seal, but I don't think anybody will notice the hole.

Trust me - Colin would notice!

Oh, I know it would be the first thing Colin would comment on "Nice hole in your belly pan" - for sure. To me, and many, belly pans are like underwear - I need nice clean ones. The least number of holes is what I'm after.
