I need a gray tank. Unsure of the size I need. I have a 1970 AS with a 50 gallon freshwater tank. Any Idea of the size of a gray tank I would need? I would like to retrofit inbetween the axels. Thanks!

To be safe and sure, you will need to measure the space available, since it does vary.

Post those dimensions and one of us can then help.

You can get a tank custom-made from these people:Inca Plastics Inc. - RV Tanks

Also, your 1970 never had a grey tank, only a black tank.

The freshwater tank on my 1973 Overlander leaks. Any suggestions? What do I have to take apart to get it out and replaced?

The water tank is within the underbelly, near te axles.

You will see a supporting platform that holds it in place.

The side of my fresh water tank on a recently purchased 89 Limited is completely rusted out. How hard is it to replace the tank?
