What is this thing off of the pressure regulator?
IMG00273-20090908-2011.jpg (image)
It is right after the pressure regulator from the curbside water inlet and the black hose empties under the trailer.
Anyone know what it is?

Most likely a pressure relief valve to protect your plumbing from too much pressure.

My valve is leaking, can I take this valve completly out of the system as long as I'm using an external pressure relief valve? Thanks.

I wouldn't remove it - it was put there for a purpose - but I'm sure some have.
Where is it leaking - at one or both of the two flat nut heads on the body..?

111 valve
Removing the 111 valve "pressure relief" permanently, is a bad idea.
If they leak, and they can, replace it. They are not expensive, but they do protect the entire water system in the coach.
Without it, sooner or later you will forget about it, then "BANG" you will have several internal water system leaks.
It's one of those things where you can say "don't go camping, without it".

What is this thing
Is it in line with the black hose coming out the side? With out a picture, and after the pressure regulator and with black hose that empties under the trailer my guess it is a drain valve for winterizing.

You will find on top of that valve a Webster # 111.
That is the high pressure "pop off" valve that's set to 60 psi.

Hey Andy, do you sell these valves? I have a 1972 Tradewind and I need one if you carry them? Please let me know a part number and I will order it. Thanks for the advice.

Andy, do you also sell the pressure regulators for that year model? If so I would like to buy one of those as well. These are all original and I guess you would advise replacing them? Thanks.

There's a whole world of info on that problem: up top, in the blue line is a Search button. use the Google line for "furnace won't start" (or light, get a cup of coffee, and read.

redex, no worries, we all do that when we're new.
Welcome to the forum, if I haven't said that already, and don't be afraid to ask a question, if you don't understand what you've read.
