What is it - pressure reducer?

This hunk of metal has a drip coming out of it. I'm going thru the plumbing and want to replace anything bad but I have no idea what it is...

Possibly a check valve to prevent water from flowing out of the inlet when using the pump. Most check valves have an arrow on them to show the direction of the water.

That looks like a checkvalve or backflow preventer. The pressure regulator is that bell looking thing to the right with the bolt sticking out. Hope this helps

Looks like backflow preventer. You can buy replacement at Lowe's or Home Depot

Ditto the backflow/check valve theories.
