Water saving

I realized, it take's a long time, untill hot water arrive's at showerfaucet, even worse in kitchen,
While we have no water hook up in Germany, we ALLWAYS need to "dry-camp" and "saving freshwater" is an important thing. (80Gallons is "nothing" with two adults..!)
I decided to install a shorter line in pex from bathroom faucet to shower, hidden under carpet, on the "short way" by crossing aisle in bedroom ,
Anybody any idea?

I fill the teapot from the shower head. By the time hot water comes out the teapot is full.

One of the best ways to save water is, don't shower. Take a hospital-style sponge bath instead. You still get clean, but with much less water.

And besides, you don't have to give yourself a sponge bath; giving each other a sponge bath is good, clean fun!

Take a long trip down to the South Atlantic with a few of your mates and have cold, very, very cold sea water showers using sailors soap and see how much into water conservation you get.

Cheers
Tony
