Water pressure

Have a question regarding water pressure .
Does anyone know what the max allowable water pressure is in a 2011 international ?
I have a adjustable regulator and would like to set it properly

Your Airstream should be factory equipped with a combination city water hookup and preset water pressure regulator part number 601392-05. That number is on the outside and you can see it easily. It is preset at 65 psi and not adjustable.

You don't need another regulator. A second regulator may/may not interfere with proper operation, I don't know but probably not a good idea.

We use an external water pressure regulator on the campground faucet end of our fresh water hose when we use hookups:

However, for quick overnight stops and in subfreezing weather, it is easier to use the internal water pump and forego the fresh water hookup. That way we don't have to worry about campground water pressure or frozen fresh water hoses.

We just fill the freshwater tank before we leave, along with dumping the black and gray water tanks.

While the trailer has a regulator to protect the plumbing in the trailer it is a good idea to use a regulator on the input end of you hose to protect the hose. That regulator should be set in the 45 psi range.

I have never been able to see any useful purpose for the Camco regulator. At best it may be a volume regulator but it can not regulate pressure. A pressure regulator has to have a method of controlling pressure. That can only be done by stopping off the source pressure. Pressure regulators do this with a diaphragm valve and a spring. When the force on the diaphragm from the trailers internal pressure and that of the spring is equal to or greater than the city force the flow is stopped by closing the diaphragm valve and will remain closed till the trailer pressure drop below the set point. As long as you can see through or blow through the Camco it is not a regulator
