Water pouring out back

We are first time Airstream owners. When filling the fresh water tank, water pours out the back. We did not get an owner's manual with our trailer. where would the valve be located to turn off if this was left open to winterize? Also, where is the best place to obtain the manual for our 1966 22' Safari

I'm not sure where the valve is located in your model. Look inside cabinets or under furniture for a valve that is down low near or below the floor - maybe close to the tank itself. There are probably other valves for draining the rest of the plumbing as well that may be open. Hopefully someone familiar with your model year will chime in with the location. Good luck.

Don't know about the 66 Safari but my 01 Safari's grey tank drain valve is on the bottom of the tank between the tires on the curbside.

As far as a manual, you should be able to get one from the Airstream factory. Call them!

Sorry, I meant "fresh water tank".
