Water Line Route

I just got a second refurb project - a 77 Argosy 24 rear bath twin. It was just delivered to me and I have not yrt hooked up the water to it. When I tore out the carpet I saw a fresh water leak on the bare floor which looks like it is coming from a cracked pipe between the hot water tank and the shower. I think that vibration from pulling the trailer shook up residual water in the lines and tank and it came out of the cracked pipe.

My question is do the lines go from the tank (under the street side bed) through the bulkhead into the bath and then along the side of the shower pan and then bend to run across the back to the toilet and sink?

If I pull off the panel on the floor side of the shower pan will it expose the pipes? On my TradeWind they run this way but there is a furnace duct on the shower panel which you can remove for access to the pipes. In the Argosy there is no furnace duct - just a solid panel.

I hate to cut out the panel but I think that is the most likely spot for the leak.

Your hot water heater is up by the kitchen stove? Is the water leak coming from the streetside bed area? You've got potential wheelwell sources and more than a few of us have found that the pan seal under the battery is broken down and water penetrates to the floor in that location. How about the roof vent seal breaking down? There are a lot of sweated fittings once you get back under the bathroom closet.

Water piping should all be above the floor as you go aft. Per overlander64's pic from the '77 brochure, you should have the same setup as my '74 Argosy. The entire area under the bathroom sink and toilet is the black tank (also above the floor). I haven't had that apart (though I need to), so I can't say exactly how the pipes route over to the shower. Anybody?

I mispoke -I meant that the hot water tank is on the CURB side under the curbside twin bed. It then goes aft through the bulkhead. Then I think it runs along the aisle-side of the shower pan where it turns to run along the back under the toilet to the incoming water source . The front panel below the toilet on mine has been cut into to fix an earlier break by the PO and the supply pipe runs right in front of the black water tank.
