Water leak on curbside near kitchen

I have a mid bath streetside corner bed '86 25 ft. Sovereign. In the past I had one of the lines under the kitchen sink (curbside) pop off due to a bad water regulator. The first time I figured it had worked loose and the second time I found it was a bad external water regulator (Watts). It was replaced with a high dollar Watts regulator and a second gauge was connected downstream at the entrance to the regulator. Regulator at the bib was 60 psi and 50 psi at the trailer. I noticed water coming out over the front axle but not as much as when that pesky line popped off before. Funny thing is that I do not find any of the floor wet inside the kitchen cabinet below the sink and near the wall. Does the main water line on that side of the trailer travel below the floor line and feeds lines to the sink through the floor? If so that means belly pan removal in an area I had hoped to never remove it.

All my water lines are above floor level, the low point drains are under the K sink in the area you describe.

Could the FW tank be leaking. Or possibly getting filled by back flow through the pump and leaking out of the fill/vent.

The fresh water tank has not been filled in 8 years.

Leak curbside

I had a similar situation recently and finally discovered that the sprayer head was leaking and dripping behind the sink and then finally outside. If you have a sprayer head you might check that.

No sprayer head with this sink. It looks like I will have to empty everything under the sink and get a birds eye view with a flashlight then have the wife turn the water on slowly to locate the leak. I may even try a mirror on the end of a telescoping pole where I can't see with the eyeballs.

We had a 1985 similar model. In addition to your search under the sink, have you checked the low point drains, which I think are under the wardrobe on the curbside? You will need a flashlight, according to the manual on the bottom of p. Q-4 [PDF p. 63/84]:

https://www.airstream.com/wp-content....085c.arc_.pdf

Coincidentally, due to a hasty and poor winterization on the road, we had to get at the back of the water heater [under the bed] to replace a cracked elbow. Fortunately we were at a CG on the beach in San Diego at the time!

Good luck!

Drain valves

Thanks to AlvinCal and OTRA15 whose information made me find an access panel I never noticed under the fresh water tank. Yes, I had seen the petcock drain on the side but never noticed the 4" x 6" access panel to drain the fresh water tank I have never used. It is through this opening I may be able to see where my leak is. While the manual posted by OTRA15 says I should see drain valves in the wardrobe cabinet under the floor, I haven't seen them yet. I guess I need to look a little closer and hope that I may also see them through the access hole underneath. I have never drained my system this way, only through the rear hot water tank drain.

Thanks for the update. Amazing what is hidden all over on different floor plans and models.

Good luck!

Another access plate under sink

The plot thickens. Since I couldn't see drain valves in the first wardrobe cabinet, I went back to under the kitchen sink. I found a thin piece of paneling in the lower right hand corner after opening the right hand cabinet door. It was mounted with 4 screws. I removed the panel and found better access to the area under the floor. Today I will hook up again and strategically place a couple mirrors to get a better view when the water starts leaking out. Wish me luck.

Thanks for the update. You can also hold a phone camera down there on video with the flash on, and see if you get any good random film clips, if the mirror technique is difficult. We found our black water back-flush vacuum breaker valve that way.

Good luck!
