Water Filter?

What inline water filter do you use?

We use a standard "Camping World" white canister filter in line. ( HL 200 ? )

However, because during our journeys we have encountered very hard water sources, heavy calcium deposits in intake the lines, and knowing that a fellow "streamer" had to have his entire plumbing replaced for the same reasons, we added an inline water softener. Flow-Pur RV Pro 10,000….best deal was on Amazon.

Reviews are outstanding!

GE Clear Whole House System-GXWH20S at The Home Depot

and this softener:

I use a Camco filter at the campground spigot to filter sand, crud or anything loose, and a On the Go water softener.

I use the blue one available at Camping World, Wally world etc. for about $20. It just goes on the water hose.

We don't do a lot of camping, but I also use it at home for the water I use to make beer since it removes chlorine and chloramine.

I renew it once or twice a year, and when not in use, I follow the manufacturers advice and store it wet, with the inlet/outlet caps on, in the fridge.

I can't find that at Amazon, maybe discontinued??? When I search for it Amazon returns the Watts RV PRO-1000. I don't know if that's the same thing you have or not. Price is $202 and it got 4.5 stars out of 5.

Rich where do your store that contraption? I am assuming all the PVC pipes are just a stand to keep the filters and the lines off the floor?

Also what is the Gauge? Backflow or pressure dial?

It all breaks down and goes in the sewer hose tube you see in the background. I mounted it aft of the waste tanks with reinforced mountings. The filter goes in a wrap compartment. The gauge is a pressure regulator and stays coiled in water compartment.

It says Flow Pur on the front so it must be the same. It looks like the same one as Camping World and they want $227...
