You will need to cut the red Pex line and replace the connector. There are several options to do this.
1. You can cut the line and replace the fitting with one with a barb fitting that can be crimped onto the red PEX pipe. There are several tool options for this, including one that uses pliers for the crimp action (less expensive) or a dedicated crimper tool ($50 and up).
2. You can cut the line and use a Sharkbite connector that simply pushes on to the PEX pipe.
Cut the fitting off and take it to a big box store or plumbing supplier and get them to tell you what you need or hire a plumber to come fix it for you.
Whatever you do, you might as well do both lines as the incremental cost of doing both is small.
