Hi All,
Can anyone provide reasoning to why my 65
Caravel has a factory installed(?) Watts 288 Vacuum Breaker Anti-Siphon valve on the toilet hand sprayer only? The inlet water for the flush valve on the toilet is a straight connection, without the Vacuum Breaker valve, but the hand sprayer has the valve?
I would think it would be the other way around. I'm thinking about removing the Watts valve and just straight piping the sprayer since the Watts valve is leaking anyways...any have a reason I should keep it? The hand sprayer would have a hard time stretching to fit in the toilet boil for the unlikely scenario of siphoning out of the toilet into the plumbing system.
