Carnac says:

What are some red round valve handles under the kitchen sink, slightly below the floor?

I just checked the service manual and it dosen't show it's location. However, common sense would dictate that it is on the bottom of the trailer somewhere. It should be near the tank or attached directly to the tank.
Sorry I couldn't give a precise answer................

For what it's worth....we have a 77 Safari and have been looking for some time for a fresh water drain. The Owner's manual as well as the Service manual both state " turn the water pump to the On position to expel water from the storage tank." From others I've talked to say that it probably was a cost savings by not installing a drain.
If the 76 fresh water tank is similar to the 77 there will be an access cover under the TT forward of the axle. Removing the cover will expose the pick-up line to the pump as well as the tank sensors. It would be possible to splice in a drain in the pick-up line. NOTE!! , the pick-up is not on the very bottom of the tank...there will remain about a 1/2"-3/4" of water at the bottom.

Had the same trailer

The drain valve is under the trailer midline just back of the entry door.. we are trying to remember this as we have sold this A/S.There is a square plate with bolt in the center. Remove this bolt and viola there is the drain valve.. Enjoy your trailer.... Annie and Marvin
