Simple Question - Park Water Hookup

Warning: This may be a really dumb question.

I noticed that when I searched for drinking water hoses, most were either 1/2" or 5/8". When I was looking at water filter systems (canisters) they were pre-fitted with 3/4" fittings... Which made me realize... are all campgrounds one of these or do folks carry hose adapters to up/down-size as needed? I'm sure there is something simple I am missing...

Simple Question - Park Water Hookup

1/2 or 5/8 refers to the diameter of the flexible hose part. Larger diameter hoses can flow more water.

The end fittings are always 3/4 inch make and female standard hose threads. They all fit together just fine. No adapters required.
