Well, this is my first real weekend going through my new (to me) AS. I have tracked down some electrical stuff, and sewer and am now finding a problem with water... I hooked up to my home city water and have great water pressure at the rear shower & sink but the kitchen sink faucet just sputtered a bit, then dribbled, then quit. I ran it open for quite some time - thinking there was still some air in the system. Any suggestions? I know the PO put in a new water pump, but I believe that is suppose to be used when using water from the tanks, right? Thanks for any advise you might have!

It could be a blockage at the screen in the faucet. Pull it off and try again.

You are correct that the pump is used when not on shore water and is used to pull water from the tank.

I would suspect the problem may be with one or more of the following:

• A low point drain is open which interrupts the flow of water and would cause the condition that you describe. Evidence would be water flowing from a tube under the coach.
• Winterizing bypass may have a valve that isn't entirely open or is restricting the flow to the front of the coach in some other way.
• If your fresh water tank has an auto fill feature that allows one to fill from the connected city water supply it may be receiving the vast bulk of the water flowing to the front. There should be a valve in the vicinity of the fresh water tank to turn this feature off if one is present.
• Sediment is blocking the faucet aerator.
• The built-in water filter wasn't removed prior to winterizing and is blocking the flow to the kitchen sink.

There are likely other possible causes but the above come to mind as rather likely possibilities.

I apologize --- my blonde roots are showing now. It seems that the aerater filter was, indeed the culprit. You know, I looked at the faucet and thought about the filter and then quickly dismissed it as a problem. I guess I didn't think that it would have allowed some water through initially, then just block it completely. Thanks heaps - I would like to say I just spent too much time in the heat today - but that's probably only a minor contributer....
