Replacing Fresh water tank in '58 Overlander

Greetings 'Streamers,
Could anyone tell me what is involved in replacing the fresh water tank in a '58 Overlander?
Thanks so much for any elucidation on this task!

Spike

I suppose this will be evident when I see it, I have not actually seen the unit yet, but I'm just a bit antsy about some of the things that will be needed when it arrives!
It is looking like a 'Stream is in the works!

Spike, I guess it depends on where it's located, be it in the front or the side, under a cabinet, bet or gaucho. You'll need to remove whatever is in the way, remove the tank and find one the right size with the inlet style/location you want. You may need to reuse the pipe and cap from your old tank. Likely there will be wood rot in the floor under the tank, at least every one I've ever removed either the tank has leaked or where the fill tube exits the trailer has leaked over the years. Take pictures once you have it!

Thanks for the input! The trailer is coming with a new 30 gallon tank, but it is still in Arizona and we will be picking it up in a week or two.
