Push in fittings ok?

I want to install a below the sink water filter, the Filtrete , that connects with the push in fittings. Do others use this or similar filters with these fittings and have you had any leaking problems with them? I use these at home in two places and have never had issues, but since the AS has a movement element I'm not sure if these will be ok.

I don't have any issues with them. We just had a new Truma water heater installed and that is what they use.

Push in fittings have been around for quite a while in the plumbing trades. I think they would work well for a moving and shaking home, the moving and shaking should be easily compensated by the plastic supply lines used.

Just don't use them on the suction side of the water pump, as in winter bypass kits. They will suck air as they use pressure to keep them sealed.

The only other down side I found was that they swivel. I Used them on a filter installation and had to add extra support to keep the filter in place since the piping was adding nothing in the way of stability. Good info about suction side use. Thanks

Update. I did install an under sink filter system with the push fittings. Mounted filter housing securely and stabilized the water lines to keep them from moving too much. Several trips later and all is well, no leaks.
