Gnored, there are a some other replacement options and more info in this thread here. The same Grover compressor is still available, but are more pricey than some other options.

The Grover compressors had a cut-off switch at 60 psi. You really don't want to go over that pressure with original plumbing. Ask me how I know.

Air Pump Redux

When I'm under the sink, I can't see anything because the pump is too far away for my bifocals, and too close to be seen otherwise.

Of course, there's also the issue of no 12 Vdc on the wire descending from the bulkhead.

Sigh ... I think this is beyond me. I'll probably have to seek professional help. Hope there's someone in Alpine, TX who can fix it.

BTW -- here are pics of the water tank and associated plumbing. There are no signs of any leaks having ever happened, so maybe that's grounds for hope ...
