Outside water hookup question.

The few times I have used my trailer, I have used the water that was in the tank. My question is, when you directly hook up to an outside water source, do you still need to run the pump, or does it go through the system by using the water preasure? Thanks

It is not necessary to use the pump if you are hooked up to water supply.

Normally you don't need to use the pump when you have a city water connection.

The Aquajet pump however in the current models will augment the pressure should the city water pressure be weak. You will need water in the freshwater tank to do it, but if the city water pressure is good, no need to use the pump.

Regards,

Eric

In my 68, there is a filling hole for the front water tank, and I don't see anyplace else to hook up water, so can I only run off the tank? I have the original manual, but almost everything in it says 'this applies to all trailers (except 17ft model)'. Not that I mind, just wondering...

Water Sources

Steph,

Mine was the same way also ... I adapted a T type water inlet
to use when at a campground. Works just fine. Is an easy modification. The inlet is in my "One Stop Service center".

I just bought a 1971 Sovereign 31 ft, there is a filling hole for the front water tank, and I don't see anyplace else to hook up to city water, so can I only run off the tank?
Thanks!
