New water tank, new supply tube

I just got a new tank for our Globentrotter and I need the tubing that goes between the filler and the tank. I'm using the old abs fitting for the tank, and the old fitting on the filler that is forever wedded to the filler. I had this biker guy fabricate a new cap for the filler, from a Pinto gas tank cover. I'm having the darnedest time finding 1 1/2" diameter tubing to slide on to the knurled abs fittings. Any ideas? This can't be this difficult.
