New to AS. How to get water to work?

Hello all,

I just got a new-to-me 1972 Overlander. I've never owned an AS or any other camper. I took it for one night of camping to try a few of the systems out. I attached a hose to the water-in (near the rear) and turned the water on. Almost immediately, water came out from a plastic hose sticking out from the bottom. None of the faucets work. I assume I need to turn a valve, but don't know where to start.

Again, I'm new to this and really have no idea what I'm doing. I've only "read" about it. The previous owner may or may not have winterized it.

Any tips or suggestions would be great. I've love to get some water for my next camping trip.

Thanks,
Nick

welcome!

there are drain valves for winterizing under the vanity or somewhere back there in the bathroom; sounds like one or both of them are open.
there should be another set of valves under the galley in the kitchen. close those, too. righty-tighty!

Could I assume that the ones under the kitchen are for the fresh water tank?

I'll give that a try later this afternoon.

Thanks

There are 3 valves under the galley; one for the hot water line, one for cold, and a third to empty the fresh water tank.
