New Plumbing Installed

We got the new plumbing installed. It isn’t complete but done enough to get our rig road ready by August. We still need to install city water connection but for now we will not need that where we will be going . PEX is easy enough to make changes later without worry.
You can see what we did HERE.

I just looked at your pics of the water heater plumbing.
I would recommend a water heater bypass for purposes of winterization and to isolate the water heater in the event of a tank problem with the water heater. I was sure glad mine had the bypass when the water heater tank ruptured on mine. Also, it makes winterization a snap with the pink stuff.

Water Heater Bypass

There was not enough room with the valves that I had to do that. So the bypass right now is a short piece of tube that will bridge the gap. It's manual but it will work.
1/2 inck PEX is big stuff and the valves are also big. and take up lots of room along with the "T"s, etc. There just was not a pretty way of doing it that I could see...

The bypass doesn't have to be right at the back of the water heater. Anyplace back from there before you get to a split off for something else will work to co-join with the bypass the hot and cold lines.
Actually, I would rather have the bypass than the cutoff valves because the bypass does cutoff the water to the water heater.
All a matter of personal preference I suppose....
