New Fresh Water Tank Installation
OK, I've waited months for my new tank to come to replace my aluminum cylinder tank in my 58 Caravaneer and now I need help. It came from Inca or Aztec ( can't remember ) with no holes in it, so I could locate the points of entry. How do I attach my plumbing to the tank? I have a 2" fill pipe coming into the front of it and will need a 1/2" feed line to the pump and drain and probably a 1/2" overflow. Are there PEX fittings for the 1/2" attachments to this type of plastic tank? The metal fill pipe is threaded. can I use ABS pipe with this plastic tank? Are the fittings mechanical or glued?
