Thumbs up Micro Pulse Sensor

I have to give props to Micro Pulse. One of my sensors is messed up and showing full so I decided to give them a call.(Thinking there may be some trouble shooting involved.)Not even 1 minute into it they said that it was probably finally broken and they are sending me a new one on the house. They warranty these things for 5 years. No questions asked.I told them I had a 2005 Airstream and he said that is fine.It should be here sometime next week.
Thanks You micro Pulse or actually Steve the Micro Guy.

I agree. My 04 was the one of the first to get this new system and of course it like anything else new had issues and both Airstream and the company were very helpful. Sent me a new one too that was pre-calibrated for my specific unit. Of course Airstream replaced that one too afterward and from time to time I have issues, but it wasn't with the product more an issue of the install which as I said was the first year they tried it, so I can't really complain too much.....

However, my interactions with Steve was equally positive.

I know Steve pretty well and carry his product. When we started getting calls from Airstream owners claiming their readings were off, I started to question the system.
As it turns out, he calibrates them at the factory before they are shipped to OEMs and if they change the design/shape of a holding tank for a new model, guess what....yep the readings will be off. Certainly not his fault and I presume some frustration when manufactures assume there is a generic calibration.
Regardless if anybody has the system and inaccurate readings, the calibration procedure is simple. I think its in the manual if Airstream provided you with one.
In the end its a good product and I like the new LCD version coming out.

Plug and play

I was very happy to know that all I would have to do is just replace the sensor and that is it since the calibration system is in the monitor and not both the sensor and monitor.I am hoping it will get here by wed.I am leaving on a trip thurs.
