Leak with City Water Connection

We are in the process of making mostly minor (until now?) repairs on our '99 Excella. Today we hooked up city water for the first time, and have a slow leak that appears down in the access space for the water connection. Water accumulates in the bottom of this space, then runs out the drain(?) hole in the bottom.

We haven't found any water on the floor and hope that this leak is underneath.

The city water connection space appears to be in the bedroom area. There is a carpeted panel there that may hide some of the piping?

One other, possibly related, problem is low water pressure throughout the trailer while on city water. This is most noticeable on the shower, which runs poorly when the head is on the peg, but almost not at all when on the floor.

Any suggestions on where our leak may be? What is the trick for getting the panel off?

Thanks in advance...

John

City Water Leak Update

Well, we're not sure whether this was too boring a question to ask or the answer was "could be anywhere." Anyhow, an update in case someone would like to put their two cents in...

The leak appears to be in the Shurflo inlet valve. It's a very slow one, and the water just drains out the bottom, so repair may get de-prioritized. Is there a repair for this valve (the leak seems to be at a flange at the rear of the valve, held on by four Phillips-head screws)? Should the valve be screwed back into the fitting with or without Teflon tape?

Thanks,
John
