Has Anyone Had Their Water Tank Strike Road Objects

I was looking length wise down my 2008 Classic 25fb from under the propane tanks and noticed the water tank Rotocast shell hangs further than the waste tanks. Has anyone had any road debris hit the tank or if you are drivin on a Forest Service road? How much abuse can the water tank shell take?

An Airstream looks like a low rider compared to SOBs.
