I don't worry so much abut the water sloshing in the trailer, but when I brake hard, the waterbed in the van pushes kinda hard on the front seats.

that would make a great water tank. just let it drain into the main tank and when you're out of water, it's time to go and you don't need the bed!

The active ingredient of Purogene is chlorine dioxide, a chemical used in the disinfection of municipal water supplies, including Naiagra Falls area tratment plant since 1944. It is quoted as being more efficient than chlorine in many aspects of water treatment:
Chlorine dioxide - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I have been using it for the past 7 years to treat the water in our Airstream tank. It is marketed in the UK as Aquasol, for example.
Sanitation Products: Chandlery World
I have been unable to detect any taste in the water, it is quick acting, and economical. We have had no health problems associated with water in the past 7 years, and we fill our tank from an untreated well.
I recommend the use of chlorine dioxide in our trailers.
Nick.
