Thumbs up Fresh water tank

Since i have gotten my Airstream i have been using the fresh water tank for just washing things and showers and such but have not drank anything from it yet.I have had the Airstream for about three weeks or so and i have forgotten to empty the fresh water tank so it has probably started growing a science project in there.I am wanting to empty this tank as soon as possible. So what should i do.Do i put bleach in it and drive around for about 30 min then drain it and dump.
Can i just use what i have and is there something to put in the tank to make it better such as a drinking tablet.
Any help is greatly appreciated.Thanks.
P.S. I gotta do this in the next couple of days before the hurricane hits as we will be evacuating as always.

Just do what everybody else in Florida is doing; take I-75 up here to JawJA! We've got plenty of room!

With onboard water, yes.
Can you just hop on I-10 and head East to Jacksonville? I try to head East away from the Gulf storms, so far it has worked better than going North, and being chased by bad weather.

To drain my freshwater system, I just turn the pump off, open a faucet, and open the valve next to the tank. Of course, I live in the woods in the middle of five aces.
Stay safe and dry, Devo.

Thanks

I plan to go to ST.Augustine.We always go there every year or if something like this happens.Several times I have stayed with my parents but I am just glad i dont have to do that anymore. To many people = craziness.(Mostly during a hurricane.)
