Fresh water tank

I have a 75 safari that has not fresh water in the tank for over ten years. I recently filled the tank and am running it through the lines to flush it out using the water pump. I am collecting the water in a bucket and am seeing tiny worm like critters. Anyone ever had this problem? Any suggestions for cleaning out an old fresh water tank?

Plenty of Bleach and lots of rinsing.
Could be mosquito larvae.

I'd drop the tank and take good look at it. Ours was full of green algae we knew we'd never get completely out. Since we drink our fresh water, we bought a new tank.

One gallon of water for 2 people on average for coffee, tea and cooking. Works for us. Fresh water tank can not be trusted. Contamination can come from a variety of sources including campgrounds etc. Better save then sorry. Bleach, bleach and more beach, good luck!
