fresh water filler neck

Found this fresh water filler neck on ebay, looks like it would be a nice clean look for an Airstream.

I put something like this on our Tin Pickle; it replaced a rather ugly broken plastic POS filler door. I did need to fit an additional external vent since the original door incorporated a (small) vent.

I used almost identical ones on both my '48 and '49 Boles Aeros. Also used a very similar one for the electrical access on my '48. Makes a waterproof seal. Almost flush with the surface so it does not get hung up in the brush on the back roads.

We also thought it was a great idea in our 1960 tradewind to cover up an ugly hole where the previous water filler had been!

Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse... but you take a boat in the air that you don't love... she'll shake you off just as sure as the turn of the worlds.
